Sample Itinerary for a Round trip six flags tour of the states
In my opinion, this will be a 10-12 night journey if you wan to experience all these places have to offer. The route above is an ultimate adventure, and with the right planning, you should be able to secure a nightly hotel stay for no more than $100 per night on average, so the transportation, and lodging will probably run you no more than $1200-$1800 depending on your length of stay. If you have a large family, this is a deal and a steal if you are a Six Flags member or Season Pass holder, and it is even better if you have purchased an annual meal plan pass an parking. You will spend this amount alone in Disney for 1-2 nights. Please check out the break down and suggestions below. I will be happy to help you plan for your rental car, and lodging. I have already done the hard part of making the route plan. It does not cost you any more or any less to use a travel agent because the hotels pay my commission.
1. Purchase your membership online.
2. Go to your local Six Flags and get your membership cards etc. Six Flags Over GeorgiaJust west of Atlanta, Six Flags Over Georgia became the second park in the Six Flags family in 1967. The Georgia park is heavy on the Looney Tunes and Justice League themes, and it aims at catering to families with children. Still, the park has its share of big thrill rides. Among the classic thrills at the park is the Great American Scream Machine, which was once the tallest and fastest roller coaster -- at 57 mph, it is now far from the most extreme. Six Flags Over Georgia is also one of several properties to have a Batman: The Ride coaster. Other rides here include the scary Monster Mansion dark water ride, antique cars, a passenger train around the park and a dozen rides for small children in the Bugs Bunny World and Whistlepop Parks. Six Flags Over Georgia also has comparable dining and entertainment to other parks.
If you have time, stop by Six Flags White Water near the Six Flags Over Georgia park before you head on your trip.
Set your fist stop to Six Flags in Chicago see the rout plan above - Stay for a night or two and head on
Then make sure that you have your passports ready so that you can visit Six Flags Internationally, Six Flags owns Canada's La Ronde in Montreal. stay 2 nights
Next visit Springfield, Massachusetts Six Flags and all the Boston Area has to offer. Stay at least 2 nights.
Then make your way on back to the states to the Six Flags in Lake George, NY (stay 1 night)
Stop and take a day trip to visit the attractions in New York, but stay in New Jersey for at least 3 nights
Next, plant yourself in New Jersey and visit multiple locations: New Jersey has three properties in Jackson: Six Flags Great Adventure, Hurricane Harbor and Wild Safari. Lake George, New York, is home to Six Flags Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom as well as an indoor water park.
Leave there, and go to the greater D.C area
Next, hop in your car and travel to Six Flags America.
Six Flags America is a combination theme park and water park located in Mitchellville, Maryland, just 15 miles from Washington, D.C. The park started as a drive-through safari zoo that closed down in 1978. It was partially converted to a theme park in 1978 and went through several monikers, including Wild World and Adventure World, until being branded a Six Flags park in 1998. Called Six Flags America because of its proximity to the capital, it brought the total Six Flags park count up to 10. The 131-acre theme and water park has seven roller coasters, including Roar on Skull Island and the Mind Eraser. The water park features various waterslides, swimming and flume rides.
Stay at least 2 or three nights here so that you can experience all that Washington, DC and the greater DC area has to offer.
